How much notice do you require for ordering?
We will consider late orders if we feel we can deliver a quality bake within the limited time available however, our standard order times are as follows:
- Standard Cakes – a minimum of 7 days notice required
- Bespoke Cakes – a minimum of 14 days notice required
- Baked Goods – a minimum of 4 days notice required
How do I know if my order has been accepted?
No order is accepted until we have responded to your enquiry, received a deposit or full payment, and agreed a collection time.
Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Orders may be amended up to the required notice period for that item, after this time no changes may be made to the order.
When do you need payment?
To ensure that you get your orders without delay at the collection time agreed our payment terms are as follows:
Full payment is required at the time of booking for orders close to our required notice period.
For advance orders we take a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due no later than 14 days prior to your collection date.
Payment can be made over the phone by card or you can pop in to the tea room to order and pay.
Can you do Novelty Fondant Cakes?
Our experience does not include working with fondant so we are unable to offer fondant cakes or models. If you would like to incorporate a specific theme please ask as we may be able to offer an alternative medium.
Do you deliver? / Where do I collect my order from?
We only offer a delivery service for tiered cakes, at a cost to be agreed. All other orders should be collected in person. Set up fees may apply.
Orders must be collected from the Watts for Tea tea room during opening hours. The tea room is open from 9am until 4pm, 5 days a week, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

How long will my cake last for and does it need to be kept in the fridge?
The shelf life for cakes is approximately 5 days. Some items may require refrigeration to keep them at their freshest so please follow the advice on the label provided. Cakes will be fine out the fridge in a cool place but should be refrigerated if temperatures exceed 20 degrees Celsius. You should bring your cake back to room temperature before enjoying.
What if I have an allergy or intolerance?
If you have a food allergy or intolerance please chat to us prior to ordering. As we make everything from scratch we are able to provide you with a full list of ingredients. Please see our terms and conditions for our full allergen advice.
Do you share my details with anyone?
We never make your email address available to any other company or organization. If you have supplied us with your postal address, we do not share your name and address with any companies.
