- What if I have an allergy or intolerance?
If you have a food allergy or intolerance please chat to us prior to ordering. As we make everything from scratch we are able to provide you with a full list of ingredients. Please see our terms and conditions for our full allergen advice.
- The item I want is not listed on your website, do you do custom orders?
We are always happy to listen to your ideas and will let you know if it is something that we are able to create.
- How much notice do you require for ordering?
The latest we can accept orders for straight forward bakes is 3 days in advance to ensure ingredient availability and quality.
Please note that Afternoon Teas require 7 days notice.
Custom Cakes, Buffets, & Dessert Tables will require a minimum of 7 days notice depending on the degree of work involved in creating them. We will advise you when enquiring if we are able to accept the order.
- How do I know if my order has been accepted?
No order is accepted until we have responded to your enquiry, received payment and agreed a collection time.
- Can you do Novelty Fondant Cakes?
Our experience does not include working with fondant we are unable to offer fondant models. If you would like to incorporate a specific theme please ask as we may be able to offer an alternative medium.
- When do you need payment?
We take a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering to ensure that you get your orders without delay at the collection time agreed. Full payment is required no later than 14 days prior to your collection date. Payment can be made over the phone by card or you can pop in to the tea room to order and pay.
- Do you deliver?
We do not offer a delivery service at this time.
- Where do I collect my order from?
Orders must be collected from the Watts for Tea tea room during opening hours. The tea room is open from 9am until 4pm, 5 days a week, closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

- Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Orders may be amended up to 7 days prior to the agreed collection time, after this time no changes may be made to the order.
- How long will my cake last for and does it need to be kept in the fridge?
The shelf life for cakes is approximately 5 days. Some items may require refrigeration to keep them at their freshest so please follow the advice on the label provided. Cakes will be fine out the fridge in a cool place.
- Do you share my details with anyone?
We never make your email address available to any other company or organization. If you have supplied us with your postal address, we do not share your name and address with any companies.
